Just barely less than one year after the large geomagnetic storm on 30 April, 2014, I witnessed one of the best auroral displays I’ve ever seen. On 10 April, 2015 the sky exploded with a wonderful display. Luckily I was able to capture a time-lapse of the show. Check it out.
The skies above Saskatoon briefly cleared up in time for some aurora watching on 30 April. This time I brought my telescope to have a look at Mars also. Here is a video I made of the evening:
